You Belong Here
Because everyone belongs.
Join us on Sunday mornings at 10:30 in the heart of Midtown, Memphis.
Walking into a new community can feel daunting, but our hope is that you find room here to simply exhale.
At our foundation, Christ City is a place to belong and a place to know God. We gather every Sunday at 10:30 am not for a polished performance, but to tether ourselves to something more enduring than the weekly grind. We are an unfinished collective of people following Jesus—learning to serve with heart, worship in wonder, and create with purpose. Whether your faith is deeply rooted or you are just beginning to trace the edges of the mystery, there is a seat at the table for you.
Before You Arrive
-
Whatever makes you feel most comfortable! Our community wears anything from business casual to plain t-shirts and jeans. You are welcome as you are.
-
Feel free to snag any parking space you see in the lot in front of or behind our building. If those spaces are taken, you can park for free along Carr Ave. Just please be kind to our neighbors and don’t block driveways. You can enter through the sanctuary door facing the parking lot where our greeters will be standing to welcome you!
-
Yes! Christ City Kids (CCK) offers three spaces for children of different ages. Our nursery cares for children three and under, Godly Play is a montessori-style learning classroom for children from Junior Kindergarten through fifth grade. Gravity is for grades 6th-12th and meets every other week.
-
The service lasts about an hour and a half, including worship music, group liturgy, a compelling sermon, and weekly communion. Kids are welcome to join or can enjoy the kids' services at CCK.
